Placement Exam
The SDL TRADOS placement exam is the first step in the path to achieving SDL TRADOS Certification.

The placement exam has been developed to test your existing knowledge of the complete range of functionality in SDL Trados 2007 Suite. You can choose to certify on either the Translator's Workbench or SDLX component of SDL Trados 2007 Suite, or both if you wish, the process is the same. It provides you with an assessment of the most suitable training plan for your individual level, needs and requirements to achieve SDL TRADOS Certification.


The Placement Exam is FREE.

 

NOTE: To become SDL TRADOS Certified, you must own a licence of SDL Trados 2007 Freelance or Professional and have practical knowledge of the CCM Methodology.

Following your completion of the placement exam a comprehensive and easy to follow training plan will be offered to allow you to progress through the relevant levels of training towards the final achievement of SDL TRADOS Certification.  Upon completion of each training level, an online exam is available to test you on your knowledge of the course content. Successful completion of each level exam allows you to proceed to the next level of certification. Successful completion of the Level 3 exam offers SDL TRADOS Certification status.
